WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
In Lutheran Pioneers
you will be able to take part in many activiites that will be a
lot of fun and will help you grow as a Christian.
RECREATION
You and
others from your Lutheran Pioneer Train will be able to
participate
in campouts, canoe trips, swimming, hiking, backpack trips,
games, Klondike derbies, Pinecar derbies, cave exploring,
fishing and bike trips.
EDUCATION
The skills
you will learn will be useful as you become an adult.
Leaders, parents, and congregation members, will help you
develop your God-given talants.
LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT
You will
have an opportunity to develop your leadership skills by taking
on responsibilities at your Train.
EVANGELISM
You can
bring your friends to your Lutheran Pioneer meetings and
activities, where they will hear about our savior and His love
for all of us.
SERVICE
As you
participate in service projects in your church and community,
you will learn that our life should be one of service to our LORD
and fellow-man.
WORSHIP
Each
Lutheran Pioneer meeting begins and ends with praise to our
LORD.
Pastors, leaders, and mentors lead you in
devotion and prayer. There is also an opportunity to
praise God in different places such as around a campfire, in a
canoe, or on a backpack trail.
THANKSGIVING
Our LORD
has blessed us in so many ways and in Lutheran Pioneers you will
be able to show your thankfulness through worship, prayer, song,
and service.
FELLOWSHIP
As you meet
with others at your Train activities, District activities and
national activities, you will develop friendships with fellow
Christians. These friendships will last, not only for your
lifetime, but for eternity.
FAITH
Each time
you get together with your Train for a meeting or activity, you
have the opportunity to hear God's Word and have your faith
strengthened as the Holy Spirit is able to work in your heart.
STEWARDSHIP
Our world
and all we have is given to us by our LORD.
As loving stewards we need to learn how to care for it and use
it to the glory of our God. In Lutheran Pioneers you will
develop your God-given talents and skills to better serve him.
